Internet

  • At install, if you are renting our router, our technician will give you your password or show you where you can find it.
  • Many routers have the password on a label somewhere on the router.
    • On our router, this will be on a sticker on the barcode label marked “WPA Pre-Shared Key” or “Password Key,” depending on the model you have.
  • On the device you wish to connect, find the Wi-Fi settings (see the documentation for your device if you don’t know where this is), choose the Wi-Fi connection that matches your ICC Wi-Fi connection, and enter the password when prompted.
  • If your device gives you an option to use the push button on your router, locate the WPS button, press and hold for three seconds—then the router will send the password to your device for you.
  • If none of the above steps help, give us a call—we may be able to reset your password for you remotely.

Wi-Fi is a wireless network connection method between the device you’re using and a router in your home.
Internet is the service you are subscribing to through your internet service provider (hopefully us!).

Your Wi-Fi-enabled devices don’t connect to our service; they connect to the wireless (Wi-Fi) router in your home. Then the router connects to our service to pass the data to and from the internet using your network.

Most of the service complaints we receive are related to issues between the customers’ devices (tablets, smart TVs, mobile phones, laptops, smart speakers, etc.) and the router, not with the service we provide to the home. You may need a better router or may have a device in your network crashing the connection for everything else.

If you’re having trouble with devices connecting, we may be able to help or make recommendations! Please give us a call first so we can look at your account to ensure the issue you’re having isn’t a problem with the internet connection.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

First, you must apply for eligibility at this link. Broadlinc cannot do this step for you. You must go online to this site and follow the steps to qualify your household.

Once you’ve applied for eligibility, come back to our main Affordable Connectivity Program Information page, click the APPLY NOW button below, and fill out the form with the required information we need to connect your account to the FCC’s eligibility database (applies whether you’re an existing Broadlinc customer or a new customer).

You’ll then need to sign and acknowledge the terms and conditions of the program, which allows us to enroll you in the program and signifies that you understand the program’s terms and conditions. This is required for government records.

Once you’ve submitted the application, a member of our customer care team will contact you to finalize enrollment and schedule your installation if you’re a new customer!

The program is available starting December 31, 2021, and you can enroll at any time if the program is active.

No, the Affordable Connectivity Program provides a monthly discount on broadband service of up to $30 per eligible household. Broadlinc, like all participating broadband service providers, will receive the funds directly from the Affordable Connectivity Program.

A household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:

  1. Has an income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines;
  2. Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;
  3. Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;
  4. Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year;
  5. Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or
  6. Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider’s existing low-income program.

Yes, eligible customers with a past-due balance or a balance in collections are eligible for the benefit.

Yes, the benefit is available to eligible new, prior, and existing customers of participating providers.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount per household, which is defined as any individual or group of individuals who are living together at the same address and share income and expenses. Learn more about how a household is defined by visiting this site: https://getemergencybroadband.org.

Yes. You can also combine these benefits with other state and local benefits where available. They can be applied to the same qualifying service or separately to a Lifeline service and an Affordable Connectivity Program service with the same or different providers. For example, an eligible household could have a Lifeline-supported mobile phone service and a separate home broadband service that is supported through the ACP.

Yes. Households with a student enrolled in a school or school district where every student receives this benefit are eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Yes. If you qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program, talk to your property manager/landlord and ask that they work with Broadlinc to learn more about the benefits that might be available to you and other eligible residents.

The Affordable Connectivity Program provides a monthly discount for broadband service up to $30 per eligible household. The discount will be applied to your broadband service, but the ultimate cost to you will depend on the eligible plan you select.

No. Broadlinc is only reimbursed for the cost of the plan up to $30 per eligible household.

Yes. You are responsible for any amount over $30 for broadband service under the Affordable Connectivity Program.

The Affordable Connectivity Program can be applied to the cost of a service bundle that includes broadband, voice, texting, and/or associated equipment. If your bundle also includes TV or telephone service, you will be responsible for that portion of your bill, as well as any services that are above the monthly discount.

Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program, a long-term, $14 billion program, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. This investment in broadband affordability will help ensure we can afford the internet connections we need for work, school, health care and more for a long time.

Broadlinc will provide notice about the last date or billing cycle that the full benefit will apply to your bill and the date or billing cycle that a partial benefit will apply to your bill, in addition to information about the cost of your broadband service after the program ends. Additionally, Broadlinc will place a message on all customers’ bills each month reminding them that this is a temporary program and the estimated end date is six months from start of the program. Emails will also be sent.

Households will need to opt in or request to continue broadband services with their provider. If you don’t opt in or select a new service plan, your broadband service will end once the program ends. You’ll be required to answer a question on your e-sign document and application to indicate whether you wish to continue service and be billed once program ends. NOTE: if you have an old bill with Broadlinc, we will require you to pay that balance either in full or with a payment plan if approved to continue service once the program ends.

Yes, if you agree to continue receiving service. You’ll be required to answer a question on your e-sign document and application to indicate whether you wish to continue service and be billed once program ends. NOTE: if you have an old bill with Broadlinc, we will require you to pay that balance either in full or with a payment plan if approved to continue service once the program ends.

Yes. The monthly discount can be used to cover routers, modems, hotspot devices, and antennas if offered as monthly rental costs in addition to your broadband service cost. Keep in mind the total monthly discount remains $30 or the total of your bill, whichever is less. This will not cover any extra equipment and modem outlet charges where a home has two modems.

Participating broadband service providers can be reimbursed up to $100 if they supply a connected device to a household if that household pays more than $10 but less than $50 for the device. In other words, to take advantage of this benefit it must be done through your participating broadband provider and you must contribute a portion of the cost. The device benefit is limited to a laptop, a desktop computer, or a tablet. It does not include cell phones, large phones, or “phablets” that can make cellular calls. Broadlinc is not participating in this part of the program, as we do not offer eligible equipment.

The forms for verification and enrollment are available to download and print at this link: ACP apply-by-mail instructions. You can also call us, and we can send forms to you.

*NOTE* Hulu and Netflix subscriptions are not offered for free.

Nothing! There’s no extra cost for WatchTVEverywhere, so feel free to explore. If you can receive the TV network in your regular cable channel lineup, you may view that network’s WTVE content, if available.

Each TV network makes their own decision about what to offer on WatchTVEverywhere. For example, the live feed of CNN is available, but the live feed of TBS is not. Instead, TBS offers full episodes of their popular programs.

Yes! We’re working with many different programming providers to expand the number of networks and the number of shows available on WatchTVEverywhere. 5. Use your login anywhere to view content with the apps and websites provided by the TV channels you wish to see on your mobile device, streaming box, computer, or smart TV.

Also, you can use your login on any participating app on your smart tv or mobile device.

Nearly all WTVE programs are available on your computer, smart TV, streaming stick, device such as Roku or Apple TV, or your mobile device. Some networks may not have made all their programs available on all devices.

It might. Check your data plan before you use WatchTVEverywhere on a smart phone or wireless network. WTVE programs transmit a lot of data. This can be expensive if you have a limited data plan. We have no way of knowing when you have exceeded your data plan’s limits. You are responsible for all charges billed to you by your mobile carrier.
